An Adventure with the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens!

On Tuesday, January 13th and Tuesday, January 20th we had a guest teacher in the art room getting our crew ready for a field trip to tour the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens!! As part of this preparation, we had a visit from Matthew, an amazing museum educator at the Cummer!

The students learned about what they would see and experience at the museum and they created some art focused around three of the elements of art: Line, Shape, and Color.

Here are a few pictures of our in-class adventures…Look for a follow-up post with pictures from our tour of the Cummer Museum!

We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed our adventure!
