YES!! That is OUR STUDENTS’ ART on the front of The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens!!!! It was also featured on the t-shirts worn by the volunteers for the event!
The much anticipated VSA Festival was this week at The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens and our students were the stars of the show!! (at least we think so…)
Eight classes from Alden Road attended this huge annual event, enjoying various learning and activity stops throughout the museum and gardens. These stops included portrait drawing, collage making, painting flower pots, live music, clay tile creation, walking through the extensive riverside gardens, printmaking and a visit to the arts connection area of the museum!
We hear there were over 1,400 students present on the day of our visit!!!
Enjoy the pictures in this gallery of our experience!!
